Sarah Junco, Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry
Research Interest:
My research focuses on the structure and function of Polycomb Group (PcG) proteins, which form transcriptionally repressive complexes that mediate epigenetic modifications of histones. I am especially interested in the PcG RING Finger (PCGF) proteins, and the exact structural differences between Ub-folds of these proteins which allow them to discriminate between different binding partners.
